As the rain falls through the trees
It makes a symphony on the leaves
Rain drops sing their song soft and long
With beats of drums and cymbals, like an orchestra it resembles
It’s a melody never heard before
And it changes when it begins to pour
Created is the most beautiful sound
All you hear for miles around
The most soothing I have found
There’s nothing like being in a forest when it rains
It’s not the same as the open plains
All that nature will provide
There’s nothing it cannot hide
All its secrets it has revealed
Forever in time, it is sealed
When the rain is over and gone
It no longer sings its song
So enjoy the sound and smell
And all the forest has to tell
If you don’t go, then you will never know.
