Siblings refusing to share experiences,
Individual pains shame us into silence,
Violation of personal space,
Leaves violent rage suppressed by fear.
The concept of love is poisoned,
Within the minds of troubled…
Children… abused children…
Lost children.
Children living in a broken house;
The house speaking to,
The broken souls,
Trying to live within.
Children become men and women,
Shattered silently within,
Eking out a life,
Of brokenness on the mend.
In the blackness of night,
The shame… the pain… the fear…
Having been suppressed for years,
Bubble into unshed tears.
Life was supposed to be better,
Unshattered… unbroken… unbelievable…
Where, where… do we go from here?
