The crow of darkness
Lurks in the tree
Waiting for a princess
to rid him of disease
He was once a noble
now blackened from crime
Encaged to his costume cell
even after serving his time
No longer human you see
He once looked like you and me
Changed by cause and effect
free volition a corollary project
Cognition to be free
Came from within
Flying objectively
through the crowded sea
This poem is a collection of Artworks and poems in a soon to be published book called „Ekphratic Aesthetics: Poetry and visual arts“ by Charles Hill and will be available on Amazon along with his other published books.
