My atrocity into catastrophe
Calamities big disaster-piece
Come with me, if you dare to see
over your alter and past your sanctity
watch as I slip through the cracks of reality
and see what was never meant to be.
Jump out of bed for daily count on your feet.
It’s the same old regimental monotony.
The cold sound of iron slamming on lock
with enough time I’ll break this fucking lock.
I’ll chip at the foundation and pretend to do what I’m told,
then I’ll look back and laugh as there’s a collapse in control.
After slipping through the cracks of my reality
I realize I did it
I’m out
I’m free
Then the morning sun drags me back like the tides of the sea…
some people I guess aren’t mean to be free.
