In the darkness I heard your voice
In the darkness you sang
Such bebauty to my ears did it bring
Setting my heart abblaze, in the night
My heart beats like a drum
A war cry to fight on!
I never knew if I’d feel love again
And then you rode in
Tearing a hole into the night sky
Covered in brilliant white light
Music filled the space
Washing over me like a tidelwave
It was your beautiful voice
It pierced through my body
And touched my soul
Healed my pain in your loving glow
Your love feels like the heaven I’ll never know
Like sacred nourishment to help my heart grow
Like warm sunlight in winter snow
So in the darkness I have foudn a guiding light
In my darkness
I found strength in your loving light
In my darkness
Your voice called out to my weakened soul
Rejuvinating it back to life
