I miss watching you catch ladybugs
And giving you big bear hugs
Remember catching all those butterflies?
You turned them loose in the truck, what a big surprise!
I watched you learn how to swim
And go fishing to catch a bream
Every morning I would say, time to get up sunshine
It just seems there’s not enough time
On August sixteenth two thousand five at five fifty five
You brought me back alive!
In the blink f an eye you have grown
