They are receiving a prompt called „NEON TETRA“ and will be able to send in their work until the 10th of October. All the received stories or poems will be published on the 1st of November and will stay on the front page for the entire month.
JULY 2024: Five American writers have submitted their UTOPIA stories which will be showcased for the entire month of August, on top of all other incoming stories.

JULY 2023: First case of a prisoner who thought stealing articles from strangers (online journalists of the free world) would be cool. Didn’t even bother to change the British English into American English. Banned from the site. Seemingly didn’t learn all too much yet in all those years in prison.

APRIL 2023: For some reason I’ve been stumbling upon, what I call, „catfish-profiles“, more and more often. Especially since the beginning of this year. It might be a coincidence or there might be something going on I don’t know about. What it means: the people behind the profiles I decide to contact and invite to become part of this website send me responses that do not match the initial eloquence of their online-profile whatsoever. For my own sake, I am going to heavily decimate the amount of prisoners I am contacting each month, until this „wave of fishes“ will seemingly have decimated as well.
FEBRUARY 2023: Receiving lots and lots of letters containing the filled-out form I am requesting from each new member, though without any piece(s) of work. Should you not already be aware: each inmate I am contacting receives a full info-sheet, making it clear to them that I do not publish anybody’s‘ profile without having received written work as well. (Besides lots of other info.) So I decided to not longer spend money on even more stamps to get back to these individuals who are only sending their forms. Since they already know what’s up. I hope you can understand.
If you can not find your friend’s/loved one’s work and/or profile on this website, chances are that their mail either has not reached me yet or that they didn’t send any work for me to publish! (It’s much more likely that the latter one is the case.)
NOVEMBER 2022: Decided to stop typing out extremely similar poems from the same writer. Not that they’re „too bad“, but just very similar. Quality over quantity.
