As the sun sets
Chariots of fire burst forth with fury.
The sun’s rays like fire
pour down a distant blue mountain.
Scarlet threads in awe of fury
As the sun’s rays
slowly melt away caged walls
With every shift of colors in the sky.
16 years have gone without such a sight,
without such a thought
In these imprisoned minds,
Of something so divine.
High above
Heavens violet pleasantries
Chorus from clouds
As heavens messengers.
Amidst such beauty scarlet threads see
They are woven.
Wove within a canvas,
Though affray as society’s castaways.
They are still woven within a canvas God points
His beauty on to display what lies within us all.
