It’s a celebration a daytime to pay homage to the people who opened their eyes to see the world for what it really is. Only then, can we take the steps to create real change. In a time where hate and preconceived notions of people has been rampant, it’s been amazing to see people who accept accountability and embrace the steps… The steps of our mistakes and shortcomings and develop the mindset to heal and pay it forward. We no longer choose to conform but instead be a voice for the voiceless…
And more than anything, understand the importance of forgiveness and love. It begins with us, if we change the world will too. We have to stand firm and steadfast in our search for knowledge, life, and friendships irregardless of circumstance, we have to refuse to be denied and goals we set for ourselves.
I’m thankful for outlets like these because I don’t have to pretend. I can wear my struggles and be vulnerable I can get lost in my writing, allow the recipient to really know who I am and hopefully encourage them to know that they can too.
Before I go all I ask is that you believe in yourself… believe in your dreams, study those who created winning cultures, be kind and no matter what no matter what you see in this lifetime, only change for the better.
I’m interested in building a progressive network and solid foundation with like minded, politically active and involved in organizations is OK too, to help create real change and give those who really believe, the opportunity to take their rightful seat at the table and show us what we can do… together.
