As long as I draw breath, I fervently pray that somewhere my freedom is awaiting.
That there will be no sword of Damocles hanging threateningly over me.
That individuals, singularly and collectively will think and be Altruistic toward all.
That there will be no need for philosopher kings.
That water, wind, earth, and fire will be the wise scholars.
That there will be no existential tribalism or nationalism.
That the cosmos will dwarf any need for citizenship.
That there will be no need for endangered species lists.
That all of mankind will come to appreciate that all of life is the source of the existence that dwells in each of us.
I fervently pray it is not the pall of death wherein my freedom is awaiting.
