My light, so beautiful and bright
I’ll hold you the way a flame holds its log
On a late night covered in fog
Like the flame so gently caress
And the sexiness of how you undress
How many times you have traveled through my mind?
By the fire we lay side by side
Only in you will I confide
As the fire cracks and pops and comes to rest
I look into your eyes and know, you’re the best
With your face aglow from the flame
I know that you feel the same
Just the beauty of your face
Let’s me know there’s no other place
As the heat kisses your skin
I wonder, all my life where you’ve been
As the flame begins to die, I’ll search no further
And from the embers I realize there’s no other
In my life there is no strife
Because of you, the light of my life.
