As we make our way to the shore
The rain begins to pour
With lightning flashing
And thunder crashing
We are making our way to the bank
And the boat has almost sank
There’s not much to the crew
It’s just me and a few
We’ve made it through the heavy rain
I look into their eyes and see the pain
As the storm continues to pound
We finally reach dry ground
When calm and stillness fills the air
We drop to our knees with a prayer
As the sun begins to appear
We make our way to the pier
Where we drown ourselves with some beer
This trip is over and done
And it was not fun
