This time of year
It’s easy to shed a tear
There’s just no love in here
Year after year it comes and goes
How many times nobody knows
The days go by in such a haze
It’s like walking through a maze
People come and people go
There’s no time to get to know
Time passes by so very fast
But it feels like it will forever last
Hours turn into days and days into years
You’re just ready to get out and face your fears
There’s nothing to do but sleep and read
Or wait until it’s time to feed
Three hots and a cot
Sounds Ok but it’s not a lot
My time will soon be done
So I can get home and have some fun
