I like to stand out in the midnight rain
It seems to wash away all the pain
Or to look up at the stars
And let them heal all the scars
I like to take a ride down an old dirt road
Or just kick back and take off a heavy load
I like to go deep in the woods and lean on a tree
Just because it makes me feel so free
I like to spend all day on the beach
Or go to a farm just to pick a peach
I like to be pulled behind a boat
Or just lay in the sun on a float
I like to stand over a grill with a drink in my hand
Or go to a bar and listen to a band
I really like to travel
Or walk down a road made of gravel
I like to golf or hit a bucket of balls
And to jump off a waterfall
I like to spend time in the kitchen just t cook
Or stay up late and read a book
I like to walk out into the surf and cast a line
I don’t get in a hurry, I take my time
There’s not much I won’t do
Because life is short and days are few
Life isn’t hard to figure out, you just have to live it
