Some people get high so they can get by
Some people drink so they don’t have to think
Whatever the reason, no matter the season
Day in and day out
They just have to bug out
When times are tough and you’ve had enough
You say you’re gonna quit
Next thing you know, you have it lit
It seems you’re stuck in that same old rut
And every door gets slammed shut
All the thoughts running through your head
You just wanna go to bed
One last draw before you hit the road
And you make it a heavy load
When you take that last pull
It makes your senses all dull
And you know you’re never gonna stop, until you drop
