I’m blue because I don’t have you
I miss holding you when we lay in bed
It drives me crazy, out of my head
I miss wrapping my arms around your waist
When we’re standing face to face
I miss it when you kiss me on the cheek
It would always make me weak
When we would ride around in the car
You were right beside me, not so far
I miss it when you would pull up a chair
And let me brush your hair
I miss rubbing your aching feet
After you’ve been busy all week
I would massage your back and get you back on track
I miss all the times we would cook together
I thought it would last forever
I miss when we would hang out on the beach all day
Or take a ride in a wagon full of hay
I miss it when we were hand in hand
While walking in the sand
Without you I’m so very lonely
Because you were my one and only
Ever since you left I’ve been blue
And I just don’t know what to do
I wouldn’t be so blue if I could just have you
