In a place, where I’m being told what to do by people that just graduated,
Mental Health workers are ex-smokers, but have the nerve to talk to me about patience.
Black officers are ignorant. And a lot of white officers are slick racist,
Quick to judge an inmate by their color they don’t care about their races.
The system is a scheme and all that they care about is blue faces,
These walls can hold anyone any gender, any race and all ages.
Only money is on their mind they could care less for our safety,
Even the Major say NO to drugs but promote violence daily.
Behind this gate, between these walls, things can get a little crazy,
Locks and knives being used like guns in the streets trust me it’s dangerous.
People turn on their own kind bust a dude head to make a statement,
Following behind anyone with that sack, not caring for the man on the pavement.
Trying to make a name for themselves forgetting about allegations,
Life behind these walls are rough even a scared man can situate it.
But there is a way to make it out, by your best to avoid confrontation;
Try to find God, if not the Christian way, how about the Islamic Nation?
I promise it’s more to life than this, how about spending time with your babies,
They can’t hold you for long, through it all have faith and stay patient …
