At the age of 18 I worked at a company and did manufacturing. There I met a wonderful woman named Holly… We became fast friends. We worked hard and we shared our stories. But one day I drove her home… she said, “You can drop me off here.” I said, “Are you sure?” She said, “Yeah, my ex is possessive…” I do as she told me. Next day or two I end up at her house and omg, here comes the 2 most precious little girls! Miranda (6) and Skylar (8) and they call me “Uncle Robbie”. Well, Skylar hops in my lap and hugs me.
Bam! Door opens but the security chain held fast! Her ex… She’s screaming at him to get out! And he’s yelling, “You’re a cheating whore!” (And she’s not with him so??? No, not really dude…) But me, I’m not gonna stand and let this man terrorize these precious kids or Holly! When the excitement is all said and done, I’ve got these 2 wonderful little girls and Holly… for a time… And I’m nervous and scared like omg, am I ready to be a father? Can I be a father? The future was soo bright! For months… until her heart went to another man. And I lost my future…
Miranda and Skylar are the first kids I’ve ever had in my life. I believe I could be a good father. I never was more proud of them! I was soo moved by these little girls, they were a gift from God and I will always love the woman who gave me such a bright future for a time… Holly, I’ll forever love her… Skylar and Miranda, I think of them each and everyday.
