1 Corinthians 10:24 – „Don’t be concerned for your own good, but for the good of others“.
Hi all – I’ll have a brief offering this time as I have not been able to enter my daily information again this week. We were under nation-wide lockdown from Jan. 31 until Feb. 9 due to a problem with gangs at a Beaumont, Texas BOP facility. Our phones, TV’s, computers were not operating during that interval. We opened up again on the 9th, phones & TV’s were back on by Feb. 10th, but our computers weren’t able to connect with the main server until Feb. 16th so I was unable to enter my information during that interval. This week has been rather uncoordinated & I was still unable to get my information entered, so here we are now. I hope to start sending my daily observations next week as we get more back to „normal“ operations.
If you’ve been following my previous submissions you may know that we’re served several types of breakfasts here – biscuits & potatoes, pancakes & oatmeal, French toast & grits during the week, with bran flakes/corn flakes/frosted flakes on Tuesdays & Thursdays – but all of February we’ve only had the cereal every morning – until today – when we finally had the French Toast & oatmeal! Maybe we are finally really getting back to „normal“.
I’m sure you are aware that Pres. Putin of Russia has declared war on Ukraine and has invaded their democratic country on February 24th. This will not be a good thing for either country, nor the rest of the world.
Proverbs 5:22- „An evil man is kept captive by his own sins: they are ropes that catch and hold him“.
