A wedding song, a song I will sing:
A pageant was held to find
My heart, and to choose me a heart to cling.
Hearts pierced through by love, conjoined by a ring.
A harem to choose from, but to one I’ll bind
My heart to, two hearts combined.
Into my palace were many drawn.
With oil and fragrance I bathed you.
Anointed with oil, you are the chosen.
Humble before me my mantle covers you,
Love and protect I will do.
When you pass through rivers they will not
Sweep over you, love will hold up.
When you walk through fire, burned you will be not,
Nor set ablaze, loves mantle covers you tight.
Wedding day I will sing, your love I will wipe
From your cheeks, for life to keep.
