I sit and reminisce on so many beautiful memories of you that constantly run through my mind
So many precious feelings of love you’d showered me with which gravitate around my heart
in a powerful bind
Memories that also arouse pain because you are no longer in this world with me
Why did you go? Why must my broken heart be left in agony?
My eyes shed tears of pain
like water drops in a stormy rain
My mind confused and dazed
Like I was pushed into some horrid life phase…
I’ve never known a more beautiful soul
A love worth more than a mountain of gold
A woman so selfless she’d give away all her clothes
just to keep her family from being cold
A precious woman now gone for whom tears shall forever be shed
My precious grandmother who my heart bleeds for, now that she is dead.
