The beauty of life revolves around color. Diversity is its own love.
Social stigma and religious dogma – thieves
They rob and murder the beauty of color.

There is no greater beauty than individuality
The leaves of the trees are each a different shade of green
Black, red, yellow, white

Each as unique as every personality
and all that is seen are the colors that make different
And all that is heard are the angry shouts of an illusory hatred

Woman of color there is no stronger beauty than yours
Strength you have that others do not
Power you feel that others cannot

Lady of life the globe itself is yours to adore
This world cannot always remain blind to you
It patiently waits to be blinded by you

Show them the strength your spirit knows
shine your radiance on hatred
Be the love you know you feel
And bask in the warmth as your heart glows

Rise against this pyramid of strife
Walk with your chin held high
Throw your shoulders back, woman child

Yours is the glorious power of life
Pedestals and tiaras for you beautiful one

You deserve nothing less.
