Xavier says:
Hello, my name is Xavier, but everyone calls me Xavi. I am currently finishing a 15 year prison sentence and will be released in April of 2026. I have accomplished many personal goals in here in preparation for my release back into the „real world“. I’m almost there and very excited to be free once again. I am not a writer but when I was invited to write on this Colors On Concrete website it caught my interest. However I did not have a clue what to write about. Being incarcerated has its struggles especially when there is no true rehabilitation for people in here. I’m not a perfect person, but I strive to be better. One thing that I noticed when I started writing was that writing/ journaling is very therapeutic. The contents in these writings are very personal. To be honest, I’m hesitant in expressing myself like this for the world to see. I’ve never done this before. They are my inner most thoughts, and they are not pretty, at least not on the surface level. But, I do believe that underneath the outer shell of my being, there is a good man with a good soul. Many people will judge me, I know this. But hopefully someone out there in the world can understand me. Who knows, maybe it can even help someone… somehow. I have an email account on my tablet where I can receive messages/photos/videos if you’d like to communicate with me at securustech.net.
