What’s the word? Thank you for taking the time out to vibe with me. Before I get started I would like to thank Colors On Concrete for the opportunity to illustrate my thoughts through my words and thank you for reading this. I’m really just hoping for a healthy dialogue and a better understanding of a life that you and I may be accustomed to. It will be a journey, a really interesting one. And in sharing my side of the story, I hope to change the narrative of the stigmatic thought process that is used against so many of us incarcerated that I feel is undeserving. I just wanna share the side and show as many people as I could reach that it’s not all what the media makes it seem.
I’m often absorbed in thoughts of being at the pinnacle of my destiny. All the struggle… Every obstacle
overcome noticed in my appearance, everybody that ever believed or supported me I’m able to extend a hand always. I used to allow prison to consume me mentally, spiritually and emotionally but circumstance don’t make the man/woman ur desires. The work you put in does. We are not our mistakes, our actions just gotta align with the Greater purpose.
Thanks for reading this, I pray that I gained a friend or at best someone that’s interested enough to chill and build with me. 🙂 So we could see life through each others eyes. Alotta emotion goes into what I write, so just know that I always give you me. It’s been like a nostalgic vibe and I just wanna get back to building bridges like the one in Brooklyn you know. Lol thanks for your time.
