I am an African American / Native American Indian in my mid 40’s. All my life, I’ve been told I am an old soul. I have experienced many things in my young life thus far (i.e: wealth, poverty, pleasures, pains, „highs“ and lows, addictions, recovery, „imprisonments“, „freedoms“ and a plethora of emotions from light to dark.) I love to express myself through writing and other mediums. Everything I write is based on my personal life experiences. I am well seasoned, unashamed, and have nothing to hide. I believe that my only freedom is my ability to tell my truth and to „be“-me. Being an expert of my own experiences none has the power, authority, nor the ability to invalidate, nor discredit them or me. My main objective is to be heard and „felt“ – to give you something to think about, laugh about, or even consider a new.
