Antoinette says:
My name is Antionette, I’ve been incarcerated a very long time. In this time I’ve gone through everything imaginable. I’ve survived things I once was sure I couldn’t, but somehow I made it. I’ve overcome some of life’s greatest challenges and learned valuable lessons along the way. I’ve educated myself, forgiven myself, forgiven those who’ve burned me, and received forgiveness from those I’ve harmed. Even though I face the darkest of days, there are still moments I’m proud of. I continuously battle depression and feelings of hopelessness but my faith continuous to pull me through. I’ve achieved a A.A in business, an A.S in social behavior and a bachelors in ministry. My goal in life is to help others by sharing my life and the lessons I’ve learned. I’m here to talk, to listen and to advise if you’d like. I have no judgement, just support. You can write me by snail mail or I can receive instant messaging by downloading the app „gettingout“. I hope you enjoy the poems I’ve shared and look forward to future writings and short stories. Please feel free to ask me anything, I’m an open book.
