Tell me o man that I may know, show me o man that I see….
In this life have you strove to be true, have you upheld the sacredness of our people, the 9 Noble Virtues….
Has Boldness been your hearts companion, given you the strength to fight, were you filled with courage enough alone to do what’s right…
Has Truth caused men to call you honest and word true, whether in word or spirit, no deception, no lies, has this been you….
Has Honor been the path in life whether easy or hard, towards yourself towards another, was it your sword and guard….
Troth we know encompasses a man’s entire being, was your mercy, hate, love, anger, spirit and hand just all the days of your living….
Was self-rule always in your chest, did you discipline your mind, body and spirit to your very best….
Was guest. Friendliness always and ever ready in your heart and hands, did you offer food or shelter, kind of wise words, or perhaps just a shoulder or an ear to any in your lands….
Did you define busyship by working and giving life your contribution, when problems arrived big or small, did you help kin to find a solution….
Were you a free-standing and not just a dependent of a man, did your mind and spirit believe and follow its own plan….
Now steadfastness is perhaps the most important of friends, in all that you did, did you refuse to give up and instead persevered to the end….
Tel me o man that I may know, show me o man that I may see….
This diligence to the 9 that’s all it takes, for the sons of the Gods rightful place in eternity to take place.
